Heritage is a gated, adult community with energy efficient homes in a maintenance-free environment
What Buyers Are Saying About Heritage
We are the original residents of Heritage and it has been a wonderful experience watching it grow. We lived in the original homesite and when we decided to sell our larger home and down size we knew that we wanted to stay in the development. We love our locations, the surrounding area has everything we need, favorite grocery store, a bank, and 2 drug stores on the corner. We moved half way around the circle, and can still see our old home. That’s loving your neighborhood!

So thankful that we have found our new community at Heritage. We looked for several months in several areas but kept coming back to Heritage. We have felt so welcomed and have already been included in activities and get togethers with our new neighbors and we haven’t even finished building yet. We are also so pleased with the builder, Tony Mancil who has helped us to design the perfect home plan for us. Every time we drive towards our entrance we realize how beautiful it is there and we know we made the right choice to move to Heritage.

After previously living in the Citrus Hills Community for 15 years we decided we had enough of the constant rising fees accessed for things we never used or needed there. We decided to look elsewheres and my wife Jane noticed a smaller community called the Heritage no more than 5 miles west of where we were situated . We took a drive through the community of the Heritage one morning and came across two resident walkers in the community . We stopped and talked to them to find out some local information about how they liked living in Heritage . Got nothing but praise about how they felt ! We later drove through the neighborhood streets of this cozy community and fell in loved with how nicely kept up the houses were and their landscape so nicely trimmed. In inquiring we found out the only HOA fees for this gated community were to pay for the grass and brush trimming billed each property owner for upkeep of their property freeing me of the maintenance . It was a 50 and over community with gated privacy . The community has larger lots with plenty of mother natures birds, turtles and room to walk your dogs which some of the neighbors have . Plenty of trees and common ground spaces to enjoy the clean atmosphere . Neighbor are all friendly and helpful, nearby convenient shopping too . So, my wife Jane and I decided to purchase a nice 1/2 acre lot with already built model and moved in on September of 2018 . Have since added a swimming pool and now consider this our home of our dreams . We love it here and call it our little piece of heaven . The community of Heritage is located within short distance to shopping and other needs too, yet peacefully quiet !

Our journey to Heritage began in November 2018 when a friend who lives in Citrus Hills showed us his property here in Heritage. At the time, we had no plans to move away from Treasure Island Florida, where we had resided or years. However, we fell in love with the Heritage neighborhood. We noticed that the neighborhood is very well maintained and the abundance of green space is one of the things that make Heritage special. We soon realized that we could significantly decrease our cost of living as compared to our costs in Treasure Island. As we investigated owning a home here we met the developer and the builder. They seemed fair, easy to work with, and knowledgeable. From the time we signed the contract, we were proven correct in our assessment again and again. We spent a lot of time truly customizing our new home and our builder was extremely helpful in facilitating this process. In the process of building, we met many of our neighbors and discovered the true treasure we had stumbled upon. Every neighbor was helpful, friendly and caring throughout our building process. We moved to Heritage in September 2019 and it is everything we hoped it would be!

We moved from the Panhandle after hurricane Michael. We were really a mess after going thru such an ordeal, but for some reason we were led to this part of Florida. We found in Heritage our perfect home and new friends. Since it's a sociable neighborhood we joined in and became part of them. They offer a monthly dinner club, a newsletter, and a phone directory for our little "Hidden Treasure Neighborhood". Gary & I love it here. Toto our dog and I take our daily walk and we get to see the birds, turtles, and rabbits. It's a country setting with the world of hustle and bustle right outside our gates.
I enjoy the many fine neighbors who live in Heritage. It is also convenient to Publix, my doctors and fitness center. It is a quiet community with no club house, swimming pool or other expensive items that people don’t need or use. Our residents all keep their homes and property looking nice.
What's not to like about "Heritage"? It's a hidden treasure in the middle of everything. It's small, but not too small. The neighbors are warm, friendly and fun...but not too "friendly and fun." The neighborhood is quiet and safe, but not too quiet. The area is beautiful without being ostentatious. Heritage Park is preserved to retain the natural beauty of the area and HOA fees are among the lowest in Citrus County. With less than 20 lots remaining available, this is soon to be a missed opportunity. Did I mention how convenient "Heritage" is to everything?
